Richard Gilligan has an Exhibition coming up and heres what he had to say about it:
‘Time/line’ is an exhibition of documentary photographs about skateboarding in Ireland by Richard Gilligan. Through a mixture of portraiture, action and small everyday moments ‘Time/line’ gives an insight into life as skateboarder in Ireland from the inside out. Shot over the past 14 years, this show is a visual journey of one photographers view of life both on and off his board.
On the opening night there will also be a book launch of a limited edition publication to go with the show.
For €12 own a piece of Irish skate history (only 200 printed).
The exhibition will open Tuesday 3rd of November at PLANE/SITE Gallery on Lad Lane, Dublin 2 at 7pm.
Come along and bring your board if you are over 18 to shred shaggy's new mini-ramp in the gallery space.
